Mr. Frank, a third generation Californian, was born in Los Angeles and raised in Alhambra, California. After serving in the US Air Force during the 1960s, he returned home to finish his education. He moved to San Luis Obispo in 1972, then in 1988 to Templeton, and finally retired to Cayucos in 2012.
Robert earned his AA Degree from East Los Angeles Junior College in 1971 and his BS from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Business Management in 1973. He entered the world of banking immediately out of college but discovered he belonged on a tractor rather than behind a desk. Moving to Templeton, he became a walnut farmer in 1983 and tended 90 acres.
Mr. Frank has participated in a family business and volunteered with several non-profit organizations. He is proud to serve the community of Cayucos as a member of the Cayucos Sanitary District.
